Terms & Conditions Effective June 2021

Our Terms

Welcome to Super & Prestige Motor Services.

Our terms and conditions apply to any services, goods or parts, please read and agree to them before ordering any goods, parts or making a booking for one of our services. The title in any goods or services does not pass to the customer until all monies are received in full or transfers have been cleared. Cheques are not accepted.

Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions, together with the details on the order form, quote or invoice, are intended to contain all the terms of the agreement between us (the company) and you (the customer), relating to the supply of any service, goods or parts.

If you wish to rely on any amendment or addition, you should ensure it is confirmed in writing by one of our duly authorised representatives.

If we agree any variation in the goods to be supplied, this shall be deemed to be an amendment to the agreement rather than a new agreement.

Orders/instructions received from any driver employed by the customer, or by any person who is reasonably believed to be acting as the customer’s agent or representative, or by the order of any person to whom the company is entitled to make delivery too, shall be deemed binding upon the customer.

The company may refuse to sell all, or part of any quantity of goods/parts, for any reason whether or not an estimate has been provided.

We are unable to order any type of key, locking device, alarm or tracker for any brand, as these all require programming by the brand main dealer.

Estimates

A quote is our considered approximation of the likely cost of the goods, parts, labour and delivery if required, and is valid for 3 working days, unless a manufacture price increase is announced or occurs.

Any quote is based on the published price of the goods/parts, involved at the time of the quotation to complete any work.

If the manufacturer or supplier of the goods/parts changes the published price after the date of the quote, we will notify you of any consequent increase in the quote.

Orders & Payment

We will use our best efforts to supply all goods or parts and complete any agreed work within any time estimate we have given you, but will not be liable for delays due to any cause outside our control.

If for any reason we are unable to supply you with any of the goods, parts or complete the work, we will charge you only for the goods, parts actually supplied and the work carried out and any delivery cost if applicable.

All payments must be made in cash, bank transfer or PayPal.

Any fees that occur/charged by the bank or PayPal during any transaction, will be added to the final charge. Goods/parts will not be handed over until the final amount is fully paid. Please be aware PayPal usually remove a percentage of the total transferred. Please check with your own bank about any possible additional charges.

All goods/parts/services must be paid in full, on the day of completion of work. Goods/Parts/services that have not been paid for, will result in the items not being handed over or additional storage charges.

Some vehicles may require goods/parts, for example leather trims, electronic parts may require a VIN/Chassis number. This means it is specific for that vehicle and is generally non transferable to any other vehicle. Any goods/parts requiring a VIN/chassis number will be paid in full before any order and once ordered, no refund will be given. If the item is damaged/incorrect/not working, a replacement part will be ordered and supplied and fitted, once the original has been returned and checked.

Loss, Damage & Liability

You must observe the instructions for use, cautionary notices and other technical information and data supplied with any goods/parts.

All goods/parts will be checked as much as possible on arrival from the supply/manufacturer. If they are damaged or incorrect, we will inform you and also arrange for them to be returned and supplied with new or correct goods/parts. Any loss or damage occurred after delivery or collection of the vehicle is deemed to be the fault of yours and we take no responsibility from that point.

Returned Goods/Parts

Where the parties have contracted in person, we may (at our sole discretion) accept the return of any goods/parts, which you did not specifically order, always provided that the goods/parts are returned in the same condition as when supplied. Any such returns must be effected within 7 days of delivery or collection. The original invoice must be produced and a handling charge must be paid for the return goods (at the rate current on the date of return). The handling charge will be taken off the refunded amount, if the goods/parts are accepted for return.

You shall return goods/parts without undue delay and in any event no later than 7 days after you have been informed the parts have arrived with us ready for collection or delivery. You will be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods/parts, unless we have supplied the wrong part to your order. You shall be responsible for any diminished value of the goods/parts resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods/parts.

We will not accept the return of any goods/parts which are not defective.

Similar to all items requiring a VIN/chassis number to order, all bespoke goods/parts unique to the customer or the vehicle cannot be returned for credit or refund.

Refunds will be carried out, using the same method for the payment, returning to the same account.
